Test prop less side effects

One question we get all the time is what do I need to do to keep my stainless or aluminum prop in optimum running condition. Other than not hitting something in the water, there is really not much to do. We always recommend removing the prop for overwintering, but that is to protect against theft and from someone hitting their shins on the prop blades when they get too close to your boat! General surface cleaning can be done to stainless if you want to maintain it's like-new shine, but even that is not necessary, A shiny prop is not measurably faster than one a little dulled by use. But it is critical any edge damage, dings, gouges, or bending of the blades be brought to the attention of a local prop repair specialist immediately. They have the tools and expertise to get your prop back in optimal condition. They are not so busy in the off season, so taking that prop for repair after your boat is tucked away is the perfect time to keep a local craftsman busy during the winter.

I’m dense I think. I’m at the part of the pattern where I’m making the inner petals. It says to connect to the back loops of rounds 13 which are on the outside of the body of the flower… but it says to treat them as if they were the front loops. My brain is having a hard envisioning how to do that from the inside as the picture shows that’s where the inner petals are. Please help! I’m getting so close to being finished & I’m doing to give this to my niece & nephew who are expecting their baby in September. Thanks for you help.

For a completely ASSEMBLED ark ready to gold plate, guild or paint, the price is $4,000 (this is delivered in a raw, white surface)   This represents over 100 hrs of work.  When you factor in the cost of the kit, the labor hours work out to be about $ an hour.

FINISHED AND PAINTED GOLD ARK  $4,500 (this includes an automotive quality paint job in quadruble lacquered paint finish.

A GOLD PLATED ARK  (NOT CURRENTLY AVAILABLE) This is achieved through a state of the art goldchrome technique. The finish is absolutely astounding!  This price is this high due to the extremely high cost of the gold plating.  A gold plated ark is EXTREMELY RARE.  There are less than 10 in the world.

The Axiom is the joker in our pack. It is not a folding propeller, but it does have a revolutionary blade profile and section, if you will pardon the pun, and has never been tested on a yacht before, so we just had to put it into our trials to see how it compared. As the photograph shows, the blade profile is rectangular, while the blade section is almost S-shaped, and symmetrical in ahead and astern, with no twist. Its designers claim it gives greater thrust and stopping power, together with lower wash. So how did it stand up? Well the charts show the story, with its stopping time nearly a second better than any other model, and its side thrust again the lowest by far. However this was at the expense of lower top speed, which suggests some more tweaking is needed, but it is still one to watch.
